UltimateBet has a new clean interface with resizable tables and even a miniview mode that can allow you to play dozens of tables at once. Recently they added "RAI$E", one of the best loyalty programs for frequent poker players which gives cash for points and even 9% APR interest on the money in your account at the highest level(!). A number of celebrities play there, most notably Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, and are part of "Team UB".

Full Tilt is promoted by a number of poker all-stars including Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Erik Seidel, Erik Lindgren, Mike Matusow, Phil Gordon and more. They offer a 100% signup bonus up to $600. This is definitely an online room you want to sign up for even if it is just for play-money play if only for the weekly professional poker tips they send out.

Unique interface includes graphic avatars of players and big promotions (including their silver, gold, platinum plyaers club levels which increase the number of players points you earn per raked hand and give other perks. Many high placing people and winners of previous WSOP events came from Poker Stars qualifying events and their specialty is tournament play. This is also, by far, the largest current poker room on the internet.

Bodog poker offers a unique poker playing interface and a general feeling of coolness while playing there. On top of that if you like to make large deposits they offer a first time deposit bonus of 10% with no maximum limit, so if your deposit method allows a $10,000 deposit they will give you a $1000 bonus. Doyle's Room was one of our favorite poker rooms until they left the US market last year in response to the Port Security act which hindered online gambling by going after the sites the handle funding. Doyle has decided to recently return to the USA market and we couldn't be happier. The poker client is crisp and you can play with Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro in weekly shootout tournaments.

Absolute Poker offers a decent first time deposit bonus and has just introduced their 'FAME" player loyalty program which matches the new "RAI$E" program on UltimateBet. See our Online Poker Loyalty Programs page for detailed information on that. The average skill level is low on this site so you are likely to find an edge here. They offer bad beat jackpots and instant transfers back and forth between UltimateBet. We have a review of this site.

Everest Poker is the only poker room with true multi-language support. They bill themselves as the world's poker room and with good reason. There are a lot of new players playing here which means a lot of money to be made. New players get $100 bonus dollars on their first deposit and can also participate in a $1000 freeroll event for new players only. Even though they do not support USA players they are about twice the size of UltimateBet, so you should be able to find a good table with little problem.
Party Poker doesn't have the best client software (though the most recent release is a great improvement!) but they have one very important thing going for them: They are extremely large and are the largest of the cardrooms that do not allow US players for real money play. That means lots of new players which means lots of inexperienced players which means.... Well you know what that means.

PKR is a fairly new cardroom with the best 3D interface bar none. You really have to see this cardroom to believe it, and even though it doesn't allow real money play for US players it's worth looking at for play money just to experience the amazing graphics which are very similar to Daniel Negraneau's Stacked PC game.
For those visitors not in the United States the offer a very impressive combination of deposit bonus and rakeback. If you use the code LOWLIMIT when signing up you'll get a 100% match up to $2000.

Paradise has one of the best user interfaces and used to be the largest cardroom. They spread Omaha, Hold 'em, Seven card stud and run single table tournament tables. Limits go from $0.50/$1 to $20/$40.

Players choose CakePoker for realistic game play, one-of-a-kind promotions, generous rewards and one of the most lucrative referral programs in the industry. Cake is home to the $52,000 Gold Card Jackpot, Daily Lottery and awards over $15 Million a month in tournament action. The gold cards (dealt randomly as you play in real money games) are a unique promotion and are useful not just for the $52,000 prize for collecting all 52 cards but also for other freeroll cash events. This is a fun place to play.
Pacific Poker is the Online Poker room of Casio on the Net. Although the client for this site is crude compared to sites like Pardise or Full Tilt, it does have one great advantage--the players there seem to be especially weak. With patient play you can easily beat the games here and that makes up for a lot!

StoxPoker is a poker coaching site with over 100 videos of actual live online poker hand play for limit and no limit holdem, omaha and more. There is no better resource on the internet to improve your online poker play.
PokerRoom is a large and solid site with a number of weaker players. They are also one of the only sites to provide a browser interface to the poker room so you can effectively play it on any computer platform including the Macintosh. They have some great WSOP and British tournament promotions going right now--definitely worth a look.

Our Rating Bar
| Poker Room Rating: Excellent -- Bonus: 100% up to $650 -- Player Level: Medium |
Every poker room above has a rating bar attached to it describing the overall quality of the cardroom, the current bonus and the quality of the player population. If we have a more detailed review of the poker room the Review Available button will also appear.
Poker Room Rating: This is a description of the overall quality of the poker room. We include factors like the quality of the game interface, the quality and stability of the company running the poker room, and the speed that they process deposits and withdrawals.
Bonus: This describes the first time deposit bonus (if any) offered by the poker room. Typically this is a percentage of your deposit up to a certain amount. In all cases the poker rooms do NOT give you actual cash for your bonus. Instead they give you some version of "bonus dollars" which are converted to real money as you actually play real-money poker. The speed that the bonus dollars are converted to real money depends on several factors including the individual cardroom, the limit you are playing (bonuses clear faster at $3-$6 than $0.25-$0.50) and the size of the bonus (the larger bonuses typically clear slower than the smaller ones).
Player Level: This is the overall quality of your opponents at the cardroom. In this case LESS is MORE! In other words you want to play against players with lower player levels if possible. A value of LOW in this rating is a great place to play poker against inexperienced players.
