About Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was born July 26th, 1974 in Toronto, Ontario Canada. At the age of 21 he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to take a stab at poker and lost everything. He kept trying, though and eventually won his first WSOP event in 1998 in the $2,000 Pot Limit Holdem event and (at the time) was the youngest person ever to win a WSOP bracet at 23. In 2003 he won another WSOP bracelet in SHOE (or as it is called at PokerStars, HOSE - Holdem, Omaha, Stud, and Stud Eight or Bettter) demonstrating his strength as an all-around player. In 2004 he made 11 final tables and earned almost $4.5 million dollars for the year.
